How it Works
There are three stages to Picnic Party Games:
- Stage One: To get set up, your group will need to download the smartphone app, and split into teams, pairs, or individuals.
- Stage Two: Time to start the party! Complete as many photo and video challenges as possible using the smartphone app to earn points and move up the leaderboard.
- Stage Three: You can turn it into a competition to see who can complete the most challenges before time runs out, or just play to have fun!
Sample Challenges
Catapulting Cuisine – Video Challenge (50 Points)
Use a spoon to catapult a bite-sized food item to another person from 10 feet away. Record a five-second video of them successfully catching it in their mouth! Select “retake” if you need to try again.
Sculpting Nature – Photo Challenge (50 Points)
Collect stones, shells, small sticks, or other items to make your very own free-standing natural sculpture that stands at least 12 inches tall. Snap a photo with your creation.
Draw a Line in the Sand – Video Challenge (60 Points)
Collect a rope, towel, blanket, or whatever is available and stage a tug of war match with another group of people. Record a five-second video of your battle for victory.

Your group will be broken up into teams and challenged to solve scavenger hunt clues taking them on a journey around Greensboro. Each team will need one smartphone to download the team building app from the Apple App or Google Play stores. When it’s time to start, teams log into the activity and start solving challenges around Greensboro. Every challenge that teams complete correctly will earn points to help them climb to the top of the leaderboard. The team that collects the most points before time runs out will be named the Wild Goose Chase champions.

From teppanyaki routines to bizarre public art displays, everyone will be laughing hysterically!
COFFEE BAR STAR | 250 POINTS: Create a great Benihana-calibre teppanyaki routine at the condiment stand of your local coffee shop. The photograph must be an action shot!
Imagine standing in line for your daily cup of coffee when all of a sudden a group of people storms into the shop, heads directly to the cream and sugar station and then proceeds to throw packages of Splenda in the air while group members try to catch them with wooden stir sticks! Someone takes a picture and then just as quickly as they appeared, they’re gone! You know bystanders will have an interesting story to tell around the water cooler on Monday!
GREEN WEAVER | 500 POINTS: Create and then photograph the most useful thing you can knit, weave or otherwise fashion out of plastic grocery bags.
This is a fun Mission if teams start it early enough in the game to have time to think about the item they’re going to create. Team members can really show off their creative and eco-friendly sides with this Mission and the other team members are always surprised when they discover that one of their own can make a doormat from a handful of plastic bags!
HAIRY SCARY! | 1000 POINTS: Make a Nagi Nodo critter from human hair. A bald man with a live mammal on his head will also be considered!
This is a great Mission but one that is not often completed by teams. First, find out who Nagi Nodo is (short version: she’s a Japanese artist who created AMAZING sculptures out of hair … while it’s still on their head!) Then, teams have to plan their sculpture and beg, borrow or steal the materials to make it happen. We personally think finding a man with a mammal on his head would be easier, but a handful of teams have given it a good try. The animal of choice seems to be a big, fluffy, abstract sheep!
FRENEMIES | 250 POINTS+: Photograph the team re-enacting the splashing-in-a-fountain scene from Friends. Water must be involved and more water means more points!
This Mission is a great way to cool off on a hot day, and we’ve learned that there are very loose definitions of fountains. Pouring a bottle of water on your team mate is a type of fountain, we suppose.

Clue Murder Mystery is an interactive “whodunit” murder investigation. It challenges teams to piece together a homicide case, examine different types of evidence, analyze suspects, and connect the dots to solve the murder of Neil Davidson.

HOW IT WORKS

The mystery story is interactive, and teams will discover a variety of multimedia clues along the way. Participants will have to put their heads together to piece together printed material such as police reports, crime scene photographs, and links to audio and video recordings, accessible via YouTube during the activity.

There are two main challenges in our Corporate Escape Rooms
1) Locating all the hidden items in the room
The room may look like any ordinary room upon first glance, but hidden around it will be a number of useful and interactive items. Participants can use the items they find to help solve the puzzles, so locating them all will be one of their top priorities.
2) Completing the puzzling challenges
Your team will need to solve codes, ciphers, puzzles, and brainteasers in order to complete the challenge.
It will be up to your group whether they work together as one big team, or split into independent units to complete all the challenges.

Get your team active with fun and entertaining challenges
Get your team working together to solve a variety of challenges in the pursuit of victory. Team Pursuit features four types of challenges that will be fun and entertaining for your group. Everyone can find something that suits their unique talents between mental, physical, skill and mystery themes.
Your team will be interacting and getting to know one another while thinking outside of the box and working together. Competition adds an extra level of excitement as teams race to complete as many challenges as possible before time runs out. The point totals for all teams are tracked on the live leaderboard showing everyone what they need to do in order to take the victory.
Mental, physical, skill and mystery themes suit the different skillsets of your team. Some of the easy challenges can be rushed through to get an early lead or teams can choose some of the more difficult ones to one-up the competition. When time runs out the team with the most points wins.
Mastering the four categories of challenges is easier said than done. Each type requires a unique frame of mind and a demonstration of skill from your team.
Mental Challenges – Teams must break the code or think creatively to solve mental challenges. Problem solving and creativity are the key to success.
Physical Challenges – Moving around and interacting is key in a physical challenge. Testing strength, stamina and teamwork will win points here.
Skill Challenges – Proving your team’s unique abilities will solve skill challenges. Teams must prove their creativity in tests of accuracy, and talent.
Mystery Challenges – Learning about your coworkers gathers points in each mystery challenges. If you know your colleagues it will be easy to match clues with people in the room.

Your group will be broken up into teams and tasked to complete challenges on their smartphones. Each team will need one smartphone that can download apps from the Apple or Google Play App store. In a few simple steps teams will download the app, log into the activity and start solving challenges. After joining the activity each team will be tasked with solving challenges that are categorized as mental, physical, skill or mystery. Every challenge that teams complete correctly will earn them points which are displayed on the live leaderboard. The team that can collect the most points before time runs out will be designated the Team Pursuit Champions.
TEAM PURSUIT IS AVAILABLE ANYWHERE, IN ANY TIME FRAME, FOR ANY GROUP SIZE
One of the coolest benefits of this event is it can be run anywhere! This is perfect for companies with offices spread out across the country or even around the world. Wherever people are participating, we recommend you finish with some post-event storytelling and winner recognition.

Today, that strong, winning performance will lead one group to victory. Your task today is one that has special meaning. You will work with your team to build, customize, and create an ad campaign for a line of children’s bicycles or other quality build items. Today, you can make a child smile.
Working in teams, groups will actually build, custom outfit, and design an ad campaign for high quality children’s bikes. Once the bikes are complete, teams will present their original, innovative and often humorous ad campaigns. The team with the most creative bike and best presentation will be crowned the winner’. A local charity may be available to receive the bikes at the end of the event, or in the following days the bikes will be donated to a local charitable organisation.

We can run this event anywhere, in any time frame, for any group size
We are flexible as to where the event takes place, with most of our groups choosing a local hotel conference room as their preferred venue. It makes for a great transition after a morning meeting session.
We typically require 3-4 hours with your group with the actual activity lasting approximately 2-3 hours, although this is completely flexible.
And yes, like almost all our team building activities, this event is completely scalable for large groups of any size.
